ODI’s Growth Poverty and Inequality Programme (GPIP) is seeking a short-term consultant to develop, fundraise for, conduct and manage high-quality and innovative research on ODI’s Valuing Progress project.

The objectives of the consultancy are to:

• Advance background research on issues relating to Valuing Progress, including evaluation of methodologies for measuring wellbeing and constructing composite measures.
• Develop a research proposal to seek extension of Valuing Progress funding to cover a project pilot.
• Investigate funding opportunities and partnerships for the project and start to develop relationships with prospective funders
• Manage implementation and financial and administrative aspects of the research.
